Not Sure if Chiropractic Care Is Right for You?

If you’re unsure whether chiropractic care can help with your complaint and would like to speak with one of our chiropractors, feel free to leave your contact details (email and phone number) by phone or email — and we’ll call you back as soon as possible.

*What Is a Screening?

At Chiropractie Aalst-Waalre, we also offer a free and non-binding screening. This is a short consultation where we briefly discuss your complaint and determine whether a full intake would be appropriate.

Payment

As agreed with Dutch health insurers, patients are expected to pay after each treatment. This can be done by card or in cash. After payment, you will receive an invoice that includes the treatment date and the name of the chiropractor. You can submit this invoice to your health insurance provider for reimbursement. The reimbursed amount will be transferred directly to your bank account.

Referral
A referral from your GP is not required. You can book an appointment directly with our practice.

Reimbursement

Reimbursement depends on your health insurance provider and your supplementary insurance package. For a clear overview of reimbursements, please visit: chiropractievergoeding.nl

Your health insurance policy

Your insurance provider will have sent you an offer for your 2025 policy. You may either accept this offer or choose to switch to another insurer.

Cancelling Your Current Policy

To switch providers, you must cancel your current health insurance before January 1st, 2025. If you take no action, your existing policy will automatically be renewed under the terms offered by your current insurer.

Taking Out a New Policy

You must sign up for a new health insurance plan by February 1st, 2025. Your new policy will then take effect retroactively from January 1st, 2025. If you miss this deadline, you may receive a penalty. Note: the basic health insurance is subject to mandatory acceptance by all insurers.

Be Careful with Supplementary Insurance

If you plan to switch your supplementary insurance, your new insurer may require a medical questionnaire. This process can take extra time, and insurers are not obligated to accept you for supplementary coverage.

We recommend applying for your new supplementary insurance well before January 1st, 2025. That way, you will know in time whether you’ve been accepted and can cancel your current supplementary policy before the deadline..

Switching Made Easy: Transfer Service

Dutch insurers offer a transfer service for patients switching insurance. You can ask your new insurer to cancel your current policy for you — but only if you register with them before January 1st, 2025.

If you’re still deciding in January and want more time, be sure to cancel your current policy yourself before January 1st, so you are free to switch until February 1st.
